To help ensure the best print results, please review the following artwork guidelines before submitting your files. Properly prepared files help avoid delays, additional charges, and unexpected print issues.

Quick Checklist

  • Submit a print-ready PDF whenever possible.
  • If your artwork prints to the edge, include 1/8" bleed on all sides.
  • Keep important text, logos, and other essential elements at least 1/8" inside the trim edge.
  • Make sure your page size matches the final printed size.
  • Use high-resolution images for best print quality.
  • Check spelling, layout, and file version before uploading.
  • JPG and PNG files are also accepted, but PDF is preferred.

Preferred File Format

We recommend submitting a print-ready PDF. This gives the most reliable printing results and helps preserve your layout, fonts, and image placement.

We also accept JPG and PNG files. If you are submitting a native design file and it depends on linked images or special fonts, please make sure everything is included.

Bleed and Safe Zone

If your artwork extends to the edge of the page, a 1/8" bleed is required on all sides. This prevents unwanted white edges after trimming.

We also recommend a safe zone of at least 1/8" inside the trim edge for important text, logos, and other critical information. This helps avoid accidental trimming of essential content.

Colour Specifications

For best results, files should be prepared in CMYK colour mode whenever possible.

Please note that colours may appear different on screen than in print due to monitor settings, lighting conditions, and file setup. If precise colour matching is critical, please contact us before ordering.

If you are using Canva, please export your file as PDF Print. In the free version, RGB may be the only available option. In Canva Pro, select CMYK when available.

Image Resolution

  • Images should be 300 dpi at final print size.
  • Low-resolution images taken from websites or screenshots may print blurry or pixelated.
  • For sharp results, logos and vector artwork should be supplied in vector format whenever available.

Digital Proofs

Digital proofs are used to confirm layout, positioning, and general content before printing. They are not a guarantee of exact colour accuracy.

If colour is especially important, please contact us to discuss proofing options before production.
